What is Biodynamic Craniosacral Bodywork?

Craniosacral bodywork, which originally developed from craniosacral osteopathy, was further developed into an independent form of bodywork in the 1970s by osteopath
John E. Upledger. Its holistic approach aims to strengthen the body’s self-healing powers and the dynamic balance between body and soul using gentle techniques.

The perception and accompaniment of fluid movements are at the forefront of biodynamic craniosacral bodywork. This very gentle form of mindful touch invites the organism and the soul to release tension even at a deep level.

What can craniosacral bodywork support?

Craniosacral bodywork provides physical and emotional support in many life situations.

With gentle techniques, I accompany you on your path to greater well-being and balance.

Pregnancy & Family

Support for those trying to conceive, during pregnancy and postpartum. Strengthening family bonding before and after birth, as well as during difficult family situations. Also support for parents who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss.

Infants & Children

Supporting the development of infants and children, especially after difficult births or cesarean sections. Help with breastfeeding difficulties, colicky babies, ADHD, KISS syndrome, Down syndrome, and other challenges.

Trauma & Self-Healing Powers

Working with physical and emotional trauma, including birth trauma. Activating self-healing abilities and strengthening the immune system for sustainable health.

Relaxation & Well-being

Relaxation and recovery for body, mind, and soul during burnout, sleep disorders, and digestive problems. Regulating metabolism to increase overall well-being.

Craniosacral bodywork promotes health, well-being, and relaxation. It does not replace diagnosis and treatment by a physician or alternative practitioner.

About Me

Insa Höppner

Accompanying and setting in motion with hands and experience

With my hands, I give the body time and space to move, to set something in motion and thus find balance – physically and emotionally. With my experience, I support adults and children of all ages in coping with difficult situations, processing trauma and activating self-healing powers to promote healing. I still find this work powerful and energising – also for me as a practitioner.
