About Me

SETTING THINGS IN MOTION WITH HANDS AND EXPERIENCE

With my hands, I offer the body space and time to move, to set things in motion, and to find balance – physically and emotionally. With my experience and empathy, I support adults and children of all ages in coping with difficult situations, processing trauma and activating self-healing powers to promote healing.
I continue to find this work powerful and energizing – for me as a practitioner as well.

MY PATH TO CRANIOSACRAL BODYWORK

Many years ago, I experienced first-hand how powerful craniosacral bodywork can be. I had been suffering from pain for quite some time after an accident until I underwent craniosacral therapy. The pain stopped and never returned. ‘I want to be able to do that,’ I said to myself.

At that time, I was in training to become a physiotherapist, which I completed in 1999. For almost 13 years, I worked in this profession with a focus on neurology. But I always kept the idea of learning craniosacral bodywork techniques in mind.

In 2008, I made it happen: I began training with Wolfgang Rühle. Since 2011, I have been certified in craniosacral bodywork.

My Focus

Families, pregnant women, and children

At some point after completing my training, I signed up for an advanced seminar on working with pregnant women, infants, and children. By then, I was a mother of two myself, and on the way to the seminar, I thought about my own pregnancies, my children’s births, and the challenges of everyday family life. “Don’t I need distance from all of this rather than integrating it into my work?” I asked myself. “What am I doing here?” As soon as the course began, I knew: This is my calling. Exhaustion, postpartum depression, worrying about the children – I’ve experienced all of this myself as a woman and mother. This is precisely why I can especially support pregnant women, children, and families with my work.

Since then, I have continued to educate myself in working with pregnant women, infants and children.
In recent years, I have also attended seminars on supporting women after miscarriage and stillbirth, as well as seminars on supporting the dying and bereaved using biodynamic craniosacral techniques.
