My Focus
Families, pregnant women, and children
At some point after completing my training, I signed up for an advanced seminar on working with pregnant women, infants, and children. By then, I was a mother of two myself, and on the way to the seminar, I thought about my own pregnancies, my children’s births, and the challenges of everyday family life. “Don’t I need distance from all of this rather than integrating it into my work?” I asked myself. “What am I doing here?” As soon as the course began, I knew: This is my calling. Exhaustion, postpartum depression, worrying about the children – I’ve experienced all of this myself as a woman and mother. This is precisely why I can especially support pregnant women, children, and families with my work.
Since then, I have continued to educate myself in working with pregnant women, infants and children.
In recent years, I have also attended seminars on supporting women after miscarriage and stillbirth, as well as seminars on supporting the dying and bereaved using biodynamic craniosacral techniques.
