My Focus
Families, pregnant women, and children
At some point after completing my training, I signed up for an advanced seminar on working with pregnant women, infants, and children. By then, I was a mother of two myself, and on the way to the seminar, I thought about my own pregnancies, my children’s births, and the challenges of everyday family life. “Don’t I need distance from all of this rather than integrating it into my work?” I asked myself. “What am I doing here?” As soon as the course began, I knew: This is my calling. Exhaustion, postpartum depression, worrying about the children – I’ve experienced all of this myself as a woman and mother. This is precisely why I can especially support pregnant women, children, and families with my work.
Since then, I’ve continuously pursued further training in working with pregnant women, infants, and children. In recent years, I’ve attended seminars including prenatal experience and birth with Dr. med. Angelika Schultz, treatment of pregnant women and children with Dr. Joelle Aimée Toulouse, and treatment of children and families with Joachim Lichtenberg.
